Why no Iftar at RSS headquarters? Muslim wings gives an explanation

Mohammad Afzal the convenor of the MRM said that there is no common cultural ground that Muslims should have an Iftar party at the RSS headquarters. Islam does not ask someone else to host the party.

The Iftar is always hosted by someone who throws the party, he also said.

The issue cropped up after a Muslim swayamsevak, Mohammad Sheikh requested the RSS Nagpur Mahanagar Sanghchalak to host an Iftar party on the premises of the Smruthi Mandir of the Sangh.

The RSS however declined his request and said that no parties could be hosted at the venue where the third year training camp is currently on. Afzal said that the demand was not correct. Tomorrow someone could ask me to open the doors of my house to conduct their daughter's marriage. Is the demand correct. Moreover Muslims have different diets during Ramazan. We eat meat and eggs, this cultural aspect should be kept in mind. There is also no such cultural link, he also said.
