Why is Rajesh Khanna remembered till date, despite controversies

Its been two years since his death on July 18, 2012, here's a few things remembering him.
He was the Hindi Film Industry's first superstar giving some of the best hits like Ittefaq, Aradhana, Haathi Mere Saathi and more. His fame reached to such an extent that the BBC made a film on him titled 'Bombay Superstar' in the year 1977.
He had a style statement of his own and a fashion statement too that took India of the 70s reeling with fashion fever. The 'Guru Kurta' was there in every wardrobe and youngsters could be spotted with a collared kurta with rolled-up sleeves still have Khanna all over them.
His roller-coaster romace with the then young Dimple Kapadia was the talk of the town and it still is since the divorce never happend.
We remember him for many reasons, but he would always be remembered as our beloved Kaka.
