Why has Amritpal been booked under the stringent NSA

After a four week chase, Amritpal Singh was finally arrested by the Punjab Police.

The National Security Act (NSA) has been slapped on him due to the fact that it has been proven that he is an ISI stooge and has been acting at the behest of the Pakistan deep-state to carry out terror in India and seek a separate Khalistan state.

Amritpal Singh an ISI stooge and why he has been moved to a jail in Assam

Like all his other aides, Amritpal too has been shifted to a jail in Assam due to security reasons. Sources tell OneIndia that the decision to shift Singh to Assam was taken to prevent a jail-break like situation in Punjab. Intelligence Bureau reports had suggested that if Singh and his aides are lodged in Punjab, then their followers could orchestrate a jail break, which would in turn lead to violence in the state.

Furthermore the Intelligence had said that if Amritpal and his aides are lodged in Punjab, they could activate the Anandpur Khalsa Fauj, a private army.

Further the police also took a cue from the fact that Amritpal's aide had created havoc at the Ajnala police station demanding the release of one Lovepreet Toofans. Eventually the Punjab Police had given in and released Toofaan.

The source cited above also said that the NSA had been slapped on Singh as he is a deliberate plant by the ISI to whip up the pro-Khalistan sentiment in the state. Singh who was in Dubai, was first trained by the ISI in Georgia before being dropped into Punjab. The agencies believe that apart from being to rake up the pro-Khalistan sentiment in Punjab, he was also tasked with sheltering terrorists in the state.

Furthermore the NSA was invoked against Singh because he had vitiated the atmosphere in the state by delivering provocative speeches against the Hindu Gods and Jesus Christ.

He is also accused of being involved in arms cases. His supporters have been seeing carrying arms and ammunition openly. Amritpal would order his supporters to openly beat up the youth in the drug-addiction centres if they did not toe the line of the Khalistan movement.

He is also closely linked with the proscribed terror group, Sikhs for Justice. The outfit is run by Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, who has been declared a terrorist by the Indian government.
