Why Did Singer Kailash Kher Lose Cool at Khelo India Function?

A video of Kailash Kher venting out his frustration apparently at the organisers has gone viral.

The incident reportedly occurred at the inauguration of Khelo India University Games-2022 at the BBD University in Lucknow on Thursday. Without naming anyone, Kher claims that they made him wait for one and a half hours and asked them "to learn some manners."

Some reports claim that he got furious after the organisers tried to cut short his live performance. Another report states that he was not happy with the poor arrangement.

However, the 49-year-old singer went on to thrill the crowd with his performance. Kher had a special mention for the Prime Minister for bringing the sports and music industries together.

"Thank you, PM Modi, for initiating to connect sports and music as both genres have been ignored in the country for ages. Had some unforgettable moments at the Khelo India post. On my request, Navneet Sehgal shook a leg with me. I laud him because sometimes having a VIP can be very boring in our country. Thank you, Lucknow, for giving me a memorable Kailasa experience," he wrote in Hindi on his Instagram page.
