Why Did PM Modi Choose 11:40 AM To File His Nomination From Varanasi Seat?

PM Modi has selected an auspicious moment to file his nomination for the Lok Sabha elections from the Varanasi seat. After performing Ganga snan and Ganga Poojan at Dashashwamedh Ghat, he will offer prayers at the Kaal Bhairav temple in Varanasi, followed by filing his nomination at precisely 11:40 AM.

The choice of this particular time on May 14 is important for several reasons. Firstly, May 14 is celebrated as Ganga Saptami, a sacred day in Hinduism. Also, the date holds importance due to the conjunction of Ganga Saptami and Pushya Nakshatra, a celestial alignment believed to enhance the success of any endeavor undertaken on this day, potentially leading to the fulfillment of one's desires.

PM Modi s 11 40 AM Nomination Filing

PM Modi's decision to file his nomination at 11:40 AM is also symbolic. This time coincides with Abhijit Muhurat and Anand Yog, considered auspicious according to astrology. Abhijit Muhurat is the eighth muhurat of the day, occurring between sunrise and sunset.

The Pushya Nakshatra, which began at 11:23 AM on May 13, will continue until 1:05 PM on May 14, followed by the Ashlesha Nakshatra. The auspiciousness of May 14 is further enhanced by the celebration of Ganga Saptami, also known as Ganga Jayanti, which commemorates the descent of the holy river Ganges to Earth. This festival falls on the seventh day (Saptami) of the Shukla Paksha in the Hindu month of Vaisakha.
