Why did Adnan Sami call Andhra CM 'regional minded frog'?
Once again, singer Adnan Sami has targeted Andhra CM over making 'Telugu flag' remark while sending his congratulatory message to the 'RRR' team.
Singer Adnan Sami has come down heavily on Andhra Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy and called him a "regional-minded frog".
His outburst comes after Jagan hailed 'RRR' for winning the Best Original Song award at the 95th Academy Awards.

Adnan Sami tweeted, "What a regional minded frog in a pond who can't think about the ocean because it's beyond his tiny nose!! Shame on you for creating regional divides & unable to embrace or preach national pride! Jai HIND!!🇮🇳"However, the singer was criticised by a section of netizens for raising objections to Andhra CM's comment.
However, he gave a clarification on his remarks and wrote, "My issue has never been about the language. My issue has been very simple... All languages, regardless of their origin & dialect are ultimately under the one umbrella of being INDIAN FIRST & then anything else- That's all! I have sung innumerable songs in regional languages with the same effort & respect equally for all."
Earlier, Andhra CM congratulated 'RRR' team with a tweet, "The #Telugu flag is flying higher! I'm filled with pride on a Telugu song, that so beautifully celebrates our folk heritage, being given its due recognition internationally today. @ssrajamouli, @tarak9999, @AlwaysRamCharan and @mmkeeravaani have truly redefined excellence! 1/2
Congratulations to @ssrajamouli, @tarak9999, @AlwaysRamCharan, @mmkeeravaani, @boselyricist, #PremRakshit, @kaalabhairava7, @Rahulsipligunj and the entire team of @RRRMovie. Thank you for making me, crores of Telugu people across the world and all Indians incredibly proud! 2/2. [sic]"
Similarly, Sami had slammed the Andhra Chief Minister for congratulating SS Rajamouli and his team for winning an award at the Golden Globes Awards.
MM Keeravani has scored the music for 'Naatu Naatu'. It was shot on Junior NTR and Ram Charan and Prem Rakshit choreographed the track which was filmed outside Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's residence.
N Chandrababu Naidu, former chief minister and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) supremo noted that 'Naatu Naatu' has sealed its place in history by winning the award for best original song at the 95th Oscar awards.
"This is probably the finest moment for Indian cinema and Telugus achieving it is even more special," said Naidu congratulating Rajamouli, Keeravani, Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Chandrabose, Sipligunj, Kala Bhairava and choreographer Prem Rakshit.
'Naatu Naatu,' the peppy, foot-tapping chartbuster from Rajamouli's Telugu period action film "RRR", waltzed its way to history by becoming the first Indian track to win the Academy Award in the Best Original Song category.
Also, Tamil documentary 'The Elephant Whisperers' emerged as the winner at the 95th Academy Awards making it a maiden victory for India in the Documentary Short Subject category.
