The oath-taking ceremony took place at the Sher-i-Kashmir International Convention Centre (SKICC) and was administered by J&K Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at 11:30 AM.

Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha extended an invitation to Omar Abdullah to take the oath of office on Monday, following the revocation of the President's rule in the Union Territory. This transition marks a significant moment in Jammu and Kashmir's political landscape, as Abdullah prepares to lead once again.
Omar Abdullah was unanimously elected as the leader of the National Conference Legislature Party on Thursday, paving the way for his second term as Chief Minister. His first term, which lasted from 2009 to 2014, occurred when Jammu and Kashmir was still a fully-fledged state under an NC-Congress coalition government.
As Abdullah takes the helm, the political climate in Jammu and Kashmir is set for a new chapter under his leadership.
