Who Would Be The Next CM of Karnataka: 6 Possible Scenarios

There is plenty of suspense in Karnataka as both Siddaramaiah and D K Shivakumar are visiting Delhi.

Post its massive win, the Congress is in a dilemma on who it would make chief minister. Both the leaders are in the race to become the next chief minister of Karnataka. The Congress has appointed a team of observers in the state to decide on who would take the top billing.

Sources tell OneIndia that a deal could be struck by which both leaders share a term. Supporters of both leaders have been camping outside their homes demanding that they get the top post.

On Sunday, following the Congress Legislature Party meeting, it was said that a final decision would be taken by the high command. Both leaders who will be in Delhi have been told that the decision would be taken by top Congress leaders including, Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi and AICC chief, Mallikarjun Kharge.

Kharge according to sources is most likely to make an announcement today on who would be the next CM of Karnataka. There are also plenty of rumours that Kharge himself could become a consensus candidate in the event of both Siddaramaiah and Shivakumar not relenting.
