Nitin Nabin has been elected as an MLA from the Bankipur Assembly constituency in Bihar for the fourth consecutive term. The seat holds special significance, as it was earlier represented by his father, late Naveen Kishore Prasad Sinha.

In the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections, Nitin Nabin secured a massive victory by defeating Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) candidate Rekha Kumari by a margin of 51,936 votes. This win further strengthened his image as a strong and popular leader in the region. Following the election, he was given a ministerial role in the Bihar government led by Nitish Kumar and Samrat Chaudhary.

He played a key role in initiatives such as the National Unity March in Jammu and Kashmir and the Tribute March from Guwahati to Tawang to honour soldiers of the 1965 war. His ability to organise and mobilise support earned him recognition within the party.

Nitin Nabin also worked as the BJP's in-charge and co-in-charge in states like Sikkim and Chhattisgarh. His efforts in Chhattisgarh were especially appreciated, with party leaders crediting his strategies for contributing to the BJP's electoral success there.
