Who Is Kulwinder Kaur? Things To Know About CISF Personnel Who 'Slapped' Kangana Ranaut

A major controversy broke out at Chandigarh airport on Thursday after Bollywood actress and BJP's newly-elected MP from Mandi Kangana Ranaut was allegedly slapped by an on-duty female CISF officer. Kulwinder Kaur, the CISF personnel, was apparently upset over Ranaut's stance on farmers' protests that took place between 2020-21. CISF has suspended Kaur and an FIR has been launched against her. The security agency has also ordered a court of inquiry into the incident.

Later in the day, Ranaut posted a video on X titled "Shocking rise in terror and violence in Punjab". The 'Queen' actress said she's safe and sound, but raised concern about the state of Punjab.
