Where is the MA degree of ex-PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee?

New Delhi, June 13: The Master of Arts (M.A.) degree of the former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee has reportedly gone missing from the Dr BR Ambedkar University of Agra.

According to a report, the matter came to notice when the Union Minister of State for commerce and industry and finance and corporate affairs, Nirmala Sitharaman inquired the University regarding Vajpayee's degree for a documentary project, but the authorities could not find it.

TOI report claimed that the Agra University passed over the matter to the Kanpur University saying Vajpayee had been enrolled for the degree at DAV College, Kanpur.

However, Kanpur University too shrugged off the matter by denying that they never received degree of the former prime minister.

Vajpayee pursued his post graduation in in M.A. in political science from the Agra University in 1946-47.

The Agra University was established in 1927 but was renamed as Dr BR Ambedkar University in 1996.
