When Yeddyurappa offered Siddaramaiah a shoulder to cry on

Looks like B S Yeddyurappa has offered former Karnataka chief minister, Siddaramaiah a shoulder to cry on. Yeddyurappa feels that Siddaramaiah has been completely sidelined by the Congress despite him ensuring the victory of 50 MLAs single-handedly with the support of his Kuruba community.

BS Yeddyurappa and Siddaramaiah

The Congress has forgotten Siddaramaiah's contribution and is being disrespectful of the Kuruba community by joining the JD(S). The statements by Yedyurappa are being viewed as an attempt to add fuel to the fire within the Congress which has several disgruntled elements today owing to the JD(S) alliance. He also appears to be reaching out to the Kuruba community in Karnataka.

Yeddyurappa said that at least 90 per cent of the Congress MLAs are a disgruntled lot today. I am giving them all an open invitation to join us and help us form the government he said.

Taking a dig at Chief Minister, H D Kumaraswamy, Yeddyurappa said that he had gone back on his promise of waiving off farm loans. He said that he would mobilise lakhs of farmers and call for a Karnataka bandh soon.
