When Will Women Of Haryana Get Rs 2100 Under Lado Lakshmi Yojana? Here's What CM Nayab Saini's Minister Said
Haryana's Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment, Krishan Kumar Bedi, on Tuesday shared updates on BJP's 'Lado Lakshmi Yojana' implementation date. It was a social scheme promised during the Haryana Assembly Elections by BJP, under which, every woman of Haryana will get Rs 2100 every month.
Minister said, "the scheme is under consideration and the government will take a decision on this soon".

This assurance was met with skepticism from the opposition, highlighting the delay and questioning the government's commitment to fulfilling its campaign promises.
The discussion in the assembly took a contentious turn when a Congress MLA pressed for a definitive timeline for the scheme's rollout, criticizing the government's vague responses. Bedi, in his defense, assured the opposition of the BJP government's sincerity, emphasizing that their "promises are guarantees." However, he didn't miss the opportunity to critique the Congress party, pointing out their unfulfilled promises in other states like Himachal Pradesh, Telangana, and Karnataka.
"In neighbouring Himachal Pradesh, the Congress had made promises to women and said 'khata khat, khata khat. They made promises in Telangana and Karnataka, but they don't talk about these," Bedi highlighted, underscoring the opposition's failure to deliver on their assurances.
The deliberation over the 'Lado Lakshmi Yojana' and the subsequent exchange between the ruling party and the opposition reflect the political dynamics in Haryana. With the assembly elections on the horizon, the implementation of this scheme could play a significant role in influencing voter sentiment.
