When Padukone finished his session and came out of the auditorium, a person wearing goggles, shorts and black addidas jacket rushed towards him and stopped right in front of the former badminton champion from Karnataka. Prakash Padukone for a moment looked at the man in shorts, then he simply smiled and both men hugged each other. The man in shorts and black goggles was none other than Bollywood superstar Ranveer Singh.

Ranveer was at the Taj Hotel in Bengaluru to take part in the second day of IIMBue 2018 Leadership Conclave. We were told that the moment he came to know that Prakash Padukone, father of actress Deepika Padukone, was at the hotel, Ranveer rushed to the auditorium's exit and hugged the badminton champion.

Prakash Padukone was part of a discussion on future of Indian sports along with cricketer Mithali Raj on July 20. Ranveer's session with Isha Foundation's Sadhguru was on July 21.
