When Amitabh Bachchan became first Bollywood celebrity to cross 15 million followers

New Delhi, June 1: When superstar Amitabh Bachchan crossed 15 million followers on Twitter, the Bollywood superstar took it to Twitter and shared the same with everyone.

Big B is the first Bollywood celebrity to reach the 15 million follower mark on micro-blogging site Twitter. He tweeted and said, "T 1880 - TWITTER ... 15 MILLION !!! YEEEAAAEAEAEAAAHHHHHHHHH !! BADDOOOOOOOMMMBAAAAA !!"

With this milestone, the 72-year-old megastar has left other Bollywood stars like Shah Rukh Khan (13.3 million),

(12.2 million), Aamir Khan (12.9 million) and Priyanka Chopra (9.81 million) far behind.

Bachchan made his Twitter debut in May, 2010 and ever since the account has been a one stop destination for his fans to connect, interact and engage with the actor.

Followed by stars like Mukesh Bhatt, Sridevi, Dilip Kumar and Madhuri Dixit on Twitter, the actor is also active on other social media sites including Facebook and Tumblr.

Bachchan has so far posted 41.6 thousand tweets.
