Farmer's suicide at AAP rally: When Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal was slammed for 'politicising' issue

New Delhi, April 22: It looks like Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind kejriwal's cup of woes will not get over soon. At a time when Kejriwal is already being criticised for acting like a 'dictator' in the party, this will further earn him ire of the critics.

On Wednesday, a farmer committed suicide at a party rally in New Delhi. On social media, people are slamming Kejriwal for doing politics over the death. It is being said that farmer's life could have been saved, had he got proper attention at the right time.

Kejriwal criticised for farmer's death

Reportedly, Kejriwal continued rally even after the shocking incident happened right under his nose. On micro-blogging site, people are questioning him that how can he does politics over the death.

Here are some of the tweets where people have expressed both agony and disappointment on the social media.

Even after the shocking incident, AAP chief continued slamming Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Arvind Kejriwal made full use of the stage, which was organised to protest against the land bill, after the farmer, Gajendra Singh -- who committed suicide by hanging from the tree -- was rushed to the RML hospital in serious condition. Later, the doctors declared him brought dead.

What is more insensitive on the part of the Delhi CM that that instead of rushing to the hospital, Kejriwal reaped the occasion to criticise Delhi Police as well as Centre for the poor condition of farmers.

"Narendra Modi government has been pursuing anti-farmer and anti-poor policies because he has been obliged by the big industrialist, now it is time to pay them back," said Kejriwal.
