When a channel spoke with Dawood Ibrahim for the first time
“Aap Kaun? (Who are you?)” he shot back when asked whether it was Dawood on the line.
A television channel has for the first time spoken to Dawood Ibrahim. The elusive don wanted in the Mumbai serial blasts case is presently at Karachi. The correspondent dials Dawood who then shoots back, " Aap Kaun."

News18's Manoj Gupta speaks with Dawood for the first time. The voice sample was run by various agencies who confirmed to the channel that it was Dawood's voice indeed.
"Aap Kaun? (Who are you?)" he shot back when asked whether it was Dawood on the line. When this correspondent identified himself, there was a pause. "No this is Chotani speaking." Javed Chotani is a bookie who masterminds Dawood's businesses in Dubai.
Indians know him through his involvement in the 2013 IPL spot-fixing case where he allegedly worked as a conduit between Dawood and the players, the channel also reported.
