Whatsapp's new feature allows users to share live location, doesn't compromise privacy
Whatsapp has introduced a new feature that will enable you to share your live location with your friends.

The feature allows users to control who, when and for how long the location needs to be shared, giving the user complete control over his/her privacy.
In a way, the new feature allows friends and family to track you, but with your permission. It can also come in handy if you are in trouble and want to inform others about your precise location.
"You can choose to stop sharing at any time or let the Live Location timer simply expire," a Whatsapp blog said.
How this feature works?
- Open a chat with the person or group you want to share with.
- Tap on the attach button located on the right-hand side of the bar where you type messages.
- Here there's a new option to "Share Live Location" where you can choose for how long you want to share.
- Tap on send and everyone in the chat will be able to see your real-time location on a map.
