What Will Happen To Your Booked Vistara Ticket After November 11? Find Out!
Vistara, a collaboration between Tata Group and Singapore Airlines, is merging with Air India. Following this merger announcement, Vistara has ceased ticket sales for travel beyond November 11. Passengers who have already booked tickets for travel from November 12 onwards will have their bookings transferred to Air India.

"All customers who have already booked with Vistara for travel 12-November-2024 onwards will have their tickets transferred to Air India and will soon receive communication via email and SMS regarding this change," Vistara stated.
Impact on Travellers
Starting September 3, 2024, flights will gradually become unavailable for bookings beyond November 11, 2024, at 23:59 pm. From that point forward, all flights will be operated by Air India and can be booked through the Air India website or mobile app.
With regulatory approvals secured, Air India chief Campbell Wilson announced that November 12 has been set as the date for transferring Vistara's aircraft and crew to Air India. This marks a significant step in the merger process that was first announced in November 2022.
Tata Group's Airline Business Timeline
The merger means Singapore Airlines will hold a 25.1 per cent stake in Tata Group-owned Air India. The government has approved the foreign direct investment by Singapore Airlines as part of this merger.
In a message to staff on Friday, Wilson highlighted that they are now entering the final phase of this complex merger process. He acknowledged the long journey and expressed optimism about the future integration of both airlines.
