What is ‘Iron Will of America’ Biden talking about?
The US considers the seizure of Crimea in 2014 an illegal act of Russia and, in consequence of all that, it is willing to go the extra mile in the ongoing war on Ukraine.
In his recent visit to Ukraine and later to Poland, in an address to a gathering in Warsaw, the American President Joe Biden said that Ukraine stands free because Putin has met the 'iron will of America'. He admitted that though Vladimir Putin is 'tough' he does not stand a chance against the 'iron will of America'. The American government under the Biden administration has been supplying massive weapons to Ukraine in its fight against Russia.
It appears the USA has taken the Russian attack on Ukraine personally as the country has been arming the latter quite heavily. Not just that the United States is supporting Ukraine but it has exhorted its allies to come forward and arm Ukraine or offer financial aid. In one such development this week, Japan offered more than $5 billion in aid to Ukraine.

Nonetheless, as the official release from the USA government says that it has taken the cognizance of what Russia's earlier aggression in eastern Ukraine did. The USA considers the seizure of Crimea in 2014 an illegal act from Russia and in consequence of all that it is willing to go the extra mile in the ongoing war on Ukraine.
US military aid to Ukraine
The official data from the United States show that since January 2021, the country has invested more than $30.4 billion in security assistance. This is to demonstrate the American commitment to Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity. Most of this assistance has come in the last one year when Ukraine is fighting against Russian onslaught.
An assortment of weapons and defence products have been delivered to Ukraine that include over 1,600 Stinger anti-aircraft systems, 0ver 8,500 Javelin anti-armour systems and over 54,000 other anti-armour systems and munitions. Apart from more than 700 Switchblade Tactical Unmanned Aerial Systems, the USA have sent 160 numbers of 155mm Howitzers.
NASAMS & HAWK, everything that Ukraine needs
In addition to 298 Tactical Vehicles to tow weapons, the USA delivered 36 Tactical Vehicles to recover equipment and 30 ammunition support vehicles that are playing an important role in defending the territory from the Russian Army. The United States has also committed to the delivery of the much famed Patriot air defence battery and munitions.
Apart from eight National Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile Systems (NASAMS) and munitions, Ukraine has received two HAWK air defence firing units and munitions from the United States government. NASAMS are one of the greatest missile systems available anywhere in the world against bombers and fighter jets.
