What If Mascots Were Real? AI Artist Brings Amul Girl, Parle-G Child To Life—Watch Viral Video
Artificial Intelligence (AI) has grown stronger and smarter over the years. Today, it can do many things with great skill and speed. A recent Instagram video shows just how powerful AI has become. The video features well-known Indian brand mascots turned into lifelike characters using AI.
The video was shared by an Instagram user who used generative AI to create hyper-realistic versions of famous mascots. These include the Amul Girl, Air India's Maharaja, the Parle-G biscuit girl, and others. The characters appear in fun and colourful scenes. For example, the Amul Girl is seen enjoying a cheesy pyramid, the Parle-G girl sits on a stack of biscuits, and the Maharaja smiles warmly while greeting viewers. The Nirma Girl also appears, dancing in her classic polka-dot dress.

The post is titled "Reimagining Iconic Brand Mascots in Real Life." The creator explains, "I thought of using AI to reimagine iconic mascots like the Amul Girl, the Maharaja of Air India, Bholu from Indian Railways, Gattu from Asian Paints, the Nirma Girl, Fido Dido from 7UP, and Chester Cheetah from Cheetos in a hyper-realistic world. The results are pretty impressive, right?"
The video has gained a lot of attention for its creative and realistic look. Many people praised the work. One viewer commented, "Parle-G girl so cute and all Gattu, Nirma girl was amazing too." Another said, "This is so great, in every term nostalgic and thinking pov. It might bring tears to the eyes of Nirma's founder." A third person added, "Omg man! You are outstandingly creative! This is so cute and nostalgic."
However, not everyone was completely happy. Some people raised concerns about using personal images in this way. One user pointed out that the Nirma Girl was based on the founder's daughter. They wrote, "Some of these logos like Nirma, is the actual daughter of the founder. Somehow, I believe that using pictures with such personal stories could be a violation of privacy and ethically concerning."
Still, many agree that the project shows how AI can be used in digital art to mix memories with modern creativity.
