What Happened To National Herald, Robert Vadra Cases? Arvind Kejriwal Hits Back At Rahul Gandhi

Hours after Congress leader Rahul Gandhi attacked former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, AAP chief hit back asking about the National Herald cases and Robert Vadra's acquittal. This is notable as both AAP and Congress are part of the INDIA bloc.

In a social media post, Kejriwal stated, "Modiji puts people in jail even by making fake cases like liquor scam. Why haven't you and your family been arrested in open and shut cases like the National Herald? How did Robert Vadra get a clean chit from BJP? It is better if you don't preach on fear and bravery. The country knows who is a coward and who is brave."

Rahul Gandhi's Counterattack

Earlier, Rahul Gandhi criticised Arvind Kejriwal, accusing him of failing to maintain clean politics. He claimed that the largest "liquor scam" occurred under Kejriwal's leadership in Delhi. Gandhi also accused Kejriwal of indulging in "sheesh mahal politics" during his tenure.

Gandhi targeted Kejriwal at rallies in Patparganj and Okhla, referencing the 2020 Delhi riots. He alleged that Kejriwal was absent when violence erupted in the city. Additionally, he criticised former deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia, calling him the "architect of the liquor scam."

Allegations of Fear

In Okhla, Gandhi claimed that Kejriwal was intimidated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that while Modi used to boast about his strength before elections, he has since become silent. Gandhi suggested that this change indicates fear.

Gandhi further attacked Kejriwal for frequently praising his own honesty. He remarked, "Who is in need of giving certificate to himself? Only a dishonest person does so. An honest person does not give himself a certificate. People give the honest person a certificate. He should ask the people and not keep giving himself certification."

The Congress leader assured supporters they would continue to oppose Modi without fear. He emphasised their commitment to spreading love despite political challenges.
