This seminar highlighted the significant role played by Indian Railways and Western Railway in promoting sustainable energy usage and supporting national and global climate goals.

Shri Vineet further added that, in recognition of meritorious work in the field of Energy Conservation for the year 2024-2025, fifteen railway officials were felicitated with Merit Certificates and Cash Awards for their outstanding contributions towards enhancing energy efficiency and implementing innovative energy-saving measures on Western Railway.

In his concluding address, Shri Gupta, General Manager, appreciated the sustained and dedicated efforts of the Electrical Department in planning, implementing and monitoring various energy conservation initiatives across Western Railway. He appreciated the department's proactive approach in adopting innovative technologies and in spreading awareness among the staff and stakeholders.

The General Manager also offered valuable guidance and suggestions to further sustain and strengthen energy conservation measures in the future. He emphasized the importance of continuous monitoring, adoption of newer energy-efficient technologies, increased use of renewable energy, and collective participation of all departments. He urged officers and staff to incorporate energy conservation into routine working practices to achieve long-term environmental as well as financial benefits.
