#BelurMuttAttack: West Bengal media silent but Twitter fights it out

Kolkata, April 4: A day after the incident, it has been revealed that it was a low intensity blast at Belur Mutt in West Bengal on Friday, April 3.

After initial investigation, it was reported that it was fire crackers but now it has been confirmed that it was bomb blast.A couple of explosions took place in Belur Mutt.

The window panes in the hall opposite to the main temple were smashed following the explosions just before the evening prayers. West Bengal Police have been investigating the case and trying to find out the real intention behind the blasts. [Belur Mutt blast: What was the intention?]

Surprisingly, West Bengal media is silent as most of the big media organisations have not reported about the explosions. [Why are Bengal media and opposition silent on Belur Mutt blasts?]

However, micro-blogging site Twitter was flooded with comments on the attack on Belur Mutt. #BelurMuttAtaack has been trending since Saturday morning.
