Weave your imagination with StoryWeaver

Bengaluru, Sept 21: Give wings to your imagination and weave a story out of your choice for the millions of children who are awaiting to get the lessons of their lives.

An initiative of Pratham Books, StoryWeaver has a database of 800 stories in 27 languages, all available under Creative Common licenses. One can choose pictures from its wide database and churn a story around them.

The site has also formulated ways to download and print these stories so that people can translate into other languages. The goal is to bring together content users and content creators and create a participatory culture that will catalyse the creation of more content. Pratham Books will, of course, continue to populate the platform with new content on an ongoing basis.

In this world of digitization, children or adults with a creative willingness will get a scope to weave their own stories for the world to experience.
