Weather warning today

The Meteorological Department has issued a severe weather warning for several states of India from August 29 to September 2.

Weather alert for Gujarat

On August 29, heavy to very heavy rain with extremely heavy fall is likely to take place at isolated places over south Gujarat region, while heavy to very heavy rain is very likely to take place over Konkan & Goa.

Heavy rains in Konkan, Goa and Uttarakhand

On August 30, heavy to very heavy rain with extremely heavy falls is very likely at isolated places over south Gujarat, while there will be heavy to very heavy rain at isolated places over Konkan, Goa and Uttarakhand. Heavy rain is also likely at isolated places over East Rajasthan, Sub Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, Assam & Meghalaya and Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura.

Heavy rains expected over Uttarakhand

On September 1, heavy to very heavy rain is expected over Uttarakhand and heavy over Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal & Sikkim, Odisha, Assam & Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura and Konkan & Goa.

Heavy rains across northeast

On September 2, heavy rain at isolated places very likely over Uttarakhand, Assam & Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura and Sub Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim.
