Weather forecast for Aug 2: Light rains to continue in Mumbai
New Delhi, Aug 1: The Southwest Monsoon made a timely onset but ended with slightly below normal rainfall at 95% of the long period average (LPA) for June. Here is the weather forecast for Bengaluru, Delhi, Hyderabad, and Mumbai for August 2.
Bengaluru:
The Skymet weather predicted that the Monsoon will remain normal over northeastern states, Jharkhand, West Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Coastal Karnataka and Kerala. As per IMD weather, Bengaluru would witness generally cloudy sky with light rain or thundershowers on August 1. Maximum & minimum temperatures very likely to be around 29 and 21 degree Celsius respectively. However, the humidity will be around 72 percent.
Delhi:
Central and southern parts of Delhi, Faridabad, and Gurugram received moderate thundershower activity during last night. But as these rains were patchy thus, we can say that the weather over Delhi almost remained dry. As per Skymet weather, weather conditions over Delhi to become dry and warm, with partly cloudy sky for at least next five to six days. The maximum temperature will be recorded around 35 degree Celsius and humidity will be around 65 percent.
Hyderabad:
As per Skymet weather, from August 3 to 5, light to moderate rain is possible over Coastal Karnataka with isolated rain over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. Meanwhile, the rest of South India would remain dry. Meanwhile, the maximum temperature would be recorded around 31 degree Celsius and humidity around 65 percent.
Mumbai:
After witnessing incessant rains, a couple of days back, the rain intensity over the state of Maharashtra has now been witnessing a declining trend. As predicted by Skymet Weather, light to moderate rains to continue in parts of Konkan with the intensity being moreover South Konkan. Some parts of Madhya Maharashtra would also receive scattered light rains. The maximum temperature will be recorded around 29 degree Celsius and humidity around 80 percent.
