Weather forecast for Feb 8: Light showers expected in Bengaluru

    Bengaluru is likely to witness light rains. However, light to moderates rains will continue over Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. Here is the weather forecast for Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad and Mumbai for February 8.

    Light rains expected in Bengaluru

    Bengaluru:
    Bengaluru witnessed rain and thundershowers on Wednesday. Rains are likely to follow later in the day around late afternoon or evening. According to skymet weather, Rains would continue on Thursday as well but with reduced intensity. Moreover, the possibility of very light passing showers on February 9 and 10 also cannot be ruled out.

    Delhi:
    Delhi is expected to have a warm and sunny day with moderate winds blowing over the region.

    Hyderabad:
    The capital city of Telangana, Hyderabad has not seen rains for the last three consecutive years in February. As per Skymet Weather, a cyclonic circulation is likely to form over the Konkan and Goa region. The winds blowing from the Bay of Bengal over South Interior Peninsula would make a confluence zone over the area. This weather system will be responsible for giving rains over Hyderabad. Some rains are anticipated to occur over the city by February 10 and 11.

    Mumbai :
    Mumbai is expected to warm day and cloudy sky during the next 24 hours. According to Skymetweather, Mmedium and high clouds are prevailing over the region, but the weather will continue to remain dry until February 11 when scattered light rains are anticipated.

    Chennai:
    After witnessing a prolonged dry spell, Tamil Nadu managed to record light rains on Tuesday. However, rains were confined to southern regions only. Although, rains escaped Chennai, but thick cloud cover had engulfed the state capital.
