Wear masks: Delhi govt’s advisory for people with Covid-like symptoms
Amidst the uptick in Covid-19 cases in the national capital, Delhi Health Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj on Thursday issued a mask advisory to symptomatic people.
In an emergency meeting held earlier today, Delhi Health Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj said although the Covid positivity rate in the city has spiked in recent weeks, there is no need to panic.

"Positivity rate (of the Covid-19 cases) is higher than 10 per cent, but the number of tests is low. There is no need to panic. People with flu-like symptoms and those visiting hospitals should wear masks," Delhi Health Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj said.
"We have conducted a mock drill on Covid preparedness. Its results will be shown to the Chief Minister," he added.
The Delhi government has intensified testing on genome testing and there is no need to admit patients to the hospital.
Bharadwaj further assured people that there was no need to panic since the hospitalisation rate was low. He said this after holding a meeting on Thursday to review the COVID-19 situation in the national capital amid a spurt in cases.
