We Will Not Allow A Government Of Hate And Division To Run In Uttar Pradesh: Sanjay Singh

The "Rozgar Do-Samajik Nyay Do" march, led by Aam Aadmi Party's Sanjay Singh, received significant support on its ninth day in Pratapgarh. Starting at 10 a.m. from Aashirwad Banquet, the procession moved through Bhagat Singh Statue Square and other key locations, culminating at Vishwanathganj Market. The overwhelming public turnout transformed this political event into a voice of hope for many.

Participants from various walks of life, including youth, women, farmers, and weavers, joined the march to back Sanjay Singh's call for change. Lawyers, labourers, small business owners, ASHA workers, Anganwadi workers, education assistants, and employees demanding pension restoration also actively participated. Their enthusiasm highlighted the widespread public support for the march.

Focus on Employment and Social Justice

Sanjay Singh criticised the current administration for pushing Uttar Pradesh into unemployment. He stated that incidents like teachers shaving their heads in Lucknow and police beating job-seeking youth have demoralised young people. According to him, government failures have led to exam paper leaks and economic struggles for farmers and small industries.

The march aims to secure rights for unemployed youth and address social justice issues. Singh emphasised that injustices against Dalits and backward communities are rampant in Uttar Pradesh. He cited examples of caste-based discrimination and violence as evidence of systemic oppression.

Public Reception Along the Route

As the march reached Bhagat Singh Statue Square, locals warmly welcomed Sanjay Singh with garlands. This enthusiastic reception continued at Bhupia Mau and HPS Vatika. At Vishwanathganj Market, a large crowd gathered to greet the procession with flowers. The day's events concluded at NRS Resort in Vishwanathganj Bhawanipur.

Sanjay Singh remarked that these issues reflect not just administrative failure but also a mindset damaging to constitutional values. He accused the state government of being insensitive to these concerns. The march seeks to challenge this system until equality and employment are ensured for all marginalised groups.

Continuing the Journey

After a day filled with activities, Sanjay Singh arrived at NRS Resort in Vishwanathganj Bhawanipur for an overnight stay with his team. The "Rozgar Do-Samajik Nyay Do" march will resume on Thursday from NRS Resort in Vishwanathganj Bhawanipur and proceed through various areas of Pratapgarh towards Prayagraj.
