Water tank collapse kills two in Gurgaon

Gurgaon, Aug 19: Two labourers were killed when a water tank at an under-construction private school collapsed on them while they were taking a bath on Wednesday, police said.

Naval Singh and Girdhari Lal, both in their early 20s and who hailed from Rajasthan, were crushed to death on the spot near Bandhwari village.

"The water tank was built nearly a fortnight back and collapsed on Wednesday morning while the two were taking a bath. A third person had a narrow escape as he had left the site barely a minute ahead of the incident," a witness said.

Police said they were investigating the incident.
