Watchman trampled to death by elephant in Tamil Nadu

Udhagamandalam, March 30: A 41-year-old watchman of an estate was trampled to death by an elephant at Soondi, about 80 kms from here, police said.

Radhakrishnan, watchman of Briarwood Estate, was returning home when the elephant appeared in front of him and trampled to death, police said.

The body has been taken to Gudalur Goverment Hospital for post mortem, police said.
