Recent Tragedy in Pune: 17-Year-Old Boy Crashed His Porsche Into 2 IT Professionals

This incident follows a tragic accident in Pune, where a 17-year-old boy crashed his Porsche into two IT professionals on a bike, resulting in their immediate death. The victims, Ashwini Koshta and Aneesh Awadhia from Madhya Pradesh died on the night of May 19.

A local court has remanded the six accused in the Pune case, including the teenager's father, Vishal Agarwal, to judicial custody. The investigation has been transferred from the Yerawada police station to the crime branch.

The parents of the victims in the Pune accident have requested the Supreme Court to oversee the investigation and conduct the trial in their state.

Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar confirmed sufficient evidence proving the teenager was driving the car. "We have CCTV footage of the juvenile drinking liquor in a pub. He was fully aware that his actions could lead to such an accident, where IPC section 304 applies," said Kumar. Section 304 deals with culpable homicide not amounting to murder.

Kumar added, "We have initiated an internal investigation into the matter. Our investigation clearly shows that the juvenile was driving the car, and we have collected all necessary evidence, including his departure from the house as recorded in the security register."

The authorities continue to investigate both incidents thoroughly to ensure justice for the victims and accountability for those responsible.
