In Agra, Uttar Pradesh, the resilience of Indians to make the most out of adversity was evident on Wednesday. Amidst a car pile-up caused by dense fog, several families unexpectedly found themselves treated to an unusual benefit. This occurred because among the vehicles involved in the crash was one transporting chicken.

According to the reports, a minimum of twelve vehicles piled up after the collision that occurred on the national highway.

Amidst the incident, one of the vehicles involved was transporting broiler chickens specifically bred for meat production. As word spread, individuals were observed transporting the chickens to their homes. Some individuals displayed greater initiative, arriving with sacks to maximize their collection. People varied in their transportation methods, with some on foot and others on bikes, possibly intending to make multiple trips.

Approximately 500 chickens were aboard the truck, valued at nearly ₹1.5 lakh.

Tragically, one fatality was reported, and multiple individuals sustained injuries in the accidents. The injured have been swiftly taken to hospitals for medical attention, while a crane has been summoned to facilitate the removal of the damaged vehicles and to restore traffic flow.

Images from the collision site depicted a scene where at least three vehicles, including trucks, were significantly damaged due to the pile-up caused by the dense fog that enveloped North India earlier this morning.
