Watch video: Policemen fight on road in Lucknow, suspended

Lucknow, June 27: A policeman in Lucknow, who was caught fighting on camera, has been suspended, media reported.

Policeman Virendra Yadav has been suspended after he fought with the homeguard over clearing the traffic jam and a letter has been written to Homeguard directorate for seeking action against the homeguard, Superintendent of Police Manjil Saini said.

A report emerged earlier claimed that the brawl took place between them over share of bribe collected from trucks, other vehicles and vendors on Sunday morning.

The report of bribery was later refused by cops.

Earlier a video clip went viral on social media in which two policemen were seen fighting with each other.
"This is not true at all. Moreover the video is nearly two-three days old," Superintendent of Police Manjil Saini said.
