WATCH | PM Modi's New Campaign Song Just Before Lok Sabha Election 2024 Announcement

A new campaign song was released by the BJP on Saturday, hours before the announcement of Lok Sabha poll dates by the Election Commission.

The campaign song - Main Modi Ka Parivar hu - described how India's situation has improved after choosing Modi as Prime Minister. Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared the campaign video song on the social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter.

Earlier this month, the slogan "Main hu Modi ka Parivaar" (I am Modi's family) was given by PM Modi in response to a taunt from RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, who had stated that Modi attacks the opposition over dynastic politics due to not having a family of his own.

    The remarks were hit out at by Modi, stating that he had left home as a child with a "dream that I will live for my countrymen". Addressing a public meeting in Telangana's Adilabad, Modi expressed that his life is like an open book, emphasizing his commitment to serving the nation and its people.

    The second campaign song released by the BJP for the Lok Sabha elections was highlighted, with the party sharing a 2-minute 10-second election song titled 'Tabhi toh sab Modi ko chunte' (That's why people choose Modi) in January, featuring PM Modi with beneficiaries of various government schemes.

    The campaign launch was conducted by party president JP Nadda in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The BJP emphasized that the campaign slogan reflects a sentiment resonating with the masses.

    Additionally, it was announced that the Election Commission of India would unveil the dates and schedule for the Lok Sabha Elections during a press conference at 3 PM, including the schedule for assembly elections in various states such as Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Sikkim, Maharashtra, Arunachal Pradesh, and Haryana.
