Watch: Lalu gets into tiff with cops, asks ‘is SP my boss'
The letter written by Prasad to the AIIMS director stated that he suffers from elevated sugar levels and blood pressure, besides kidney issues.
RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, who was discharged from AIIMS on Monday (April 30), got into an argument with policemen escorting him at the New Delhi railway station. Lalu, who is unhappy about being referred back to Ranchi hospital, seemed to lose his cool when cops gave him some instructions. A visibly agitated Lalu shouted back at the cops and said: "These policemen is asking me to step back, saying that the SP said so, is the SP my boss?"

Lalu had earlier requested the director of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences-Delhi (AIIMS) to defer his transfer to a Ranchi medical establishment as his health was yet to improve. Lalu had cried foul over AIIMS' decision and called it a conspiracy.
"This is unjust. It is a conspiracy to (let my health) deteriorate. I am being shifted to a place where there are no facilities. It is a tough time, but I will face it," ANI quoted Prasad as saying as he was discharged from the institute.
The letter written by Prasad to the AIIMS director stated that he suffers from elevated sugar levels and blood pressure, besides kidney issues. It also alleged that the transfer was being done under political pressure.
Lalu' son and former Bihar deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav said the AIIMS has taken the decision in haste. Tejashwi said, " The decision to shift Laluji from AIIMS to Ranchi Hospital has been taken in haste. AIIMS is much better and I wonder why this decision has been taken. Only AIIMS authorities can reveal the reason behind the sudden transfer of Laluji."
All India Institutes of Medical Sciences(AIIMS) stated, "Lalu Prasad Yadav was referred to AIIMS for management of his acute medical condition. He has improved significantly and is being referred back to Ranchi Medical College for management of his chronic issues."

To protest against the AIIMS' decision, RJD supporters created ruckus in the hospital premises, alleging that there is a conspiracy to "murder" their party leader. Protesters broke a glass door, abused security guards and administration officials, hospital sources alleged.
