WATCH | Huge Crocodile Seen Strolling On Road In Maharashtra's Ratnagiri After Heavy Rains
People in Maharashtra's coastal Ratnagiri district were in for a surprise when they spotted a large crocodile strolling on the road after heavy rainfall.
A commuter captured the video while sitting inside a car, showing the reptile wandering around in Chiplun. It is believed that the reptile emerged from the nearby Shiva River, known to house many crocodiles.

Ratnagiri is home to mugger crocodiles, one of the three crocodilian species in India, along with saltwater and gharial crocodiles. The district, including Chiplun, has been experiencing continuous heavy rains for the past few days, causing river water levels to rise.
According to the IMD, the rain is expected to continue in Ratnagiri district until July 2.
