Watch: BJP MP Hema Malini's Viral Video Shared By Congress

After the Parliament expelled 141 lawmakers in the last couple of days, the Opposition continues to attack the BJP-led government at the Centre. In its recent strike, Congress shared a video claiming to expose the real reason behind a large number of suspensions of Opposition members of the house. Telangana Congress leader Sama Ram Mohan Reddy posted a video of BJP MP Hema Milini, in which, she said 'Opposition asks too many questions.'

Mocking the saffron front, Reddy posted the video on micro-blogging site X, formerly known as Twitter, which has now garnered thousands of views and shares.

"Dekhiye vo itna sawal uthate hai kuch ajeeb sa behave karte hai...iske liye unko suspend kiya gya hai. Suspend kiya toh kuch toh unlog galat kaam kar raha hai (See, they raised so many questions, behaved strangely, and hence got suspended. Their suspension means they did something wrong)," BJP MP Hema Malini said in the video.

However, the Opposition said that they want an explanation from the Union Home Minister Amit Shah over the Parliament security breach incident that happened on December 13, or else he should tender his resignation.

A total of 141 MPs, 95 from the Lok Sabha and 46 from the Rajya Sabha, have been suspended for the rest of the winter session.

Interestingly, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor had predicted his suspension minutes before the Lok Sabha speaker announced his name on the list of expelled members. "For the first time in my parliamentary career of nearly 15 years, I too entered the well of the House holding a placard calling for a discussion on the recent security breach. I did so out of solidarity with my @INCIndia colleagues, who have been unjustly suspended for demanding accountability from the government. I expect the suspension to follow. It is a badge of honour to be defenestrated by an unfair process," Congress MP Shashi Tharoor tweeted.
