Wanted criminal found dead in Uttar Pradesh

Baghpat (UP), Aug 4: A criminal, carrying a reward of Rs 1 lakh on his head, was found dead in a forest at Loom village here, police said on Tuesday.

Pramod Bamnauli was found dead yesterday in the forest in Chhaprauli area and it is suspected that he was killed as a result of gang war, Superintendent of Police, Sharad Sachan said.

He said five bullet marks were found on the body which has been sent for post-mortem.

Pramod has 22 criminal cases including those of murder pending against him and was also wanted in Uttarakhand, Haryana and Delhi. Police is probing the matter.
