New Delhi, Jan 7: One may be little disappointed after knowing this news, but within seconds, they all will vow to work more in their respective companies to avail amazing gifts as HCL has offered to its 'top performers'.

HCL, global IT services company headquartered in Noida has given innovative perks to 130 employees who worked tooth and nail for the benefit of the company. The company has announced that all of them can avail either a paid holiday abroad with family or a Mercedes.

On asking about what is the reason behind this unique way for rewarding the employees, Prithvi Shergill, chief human resources officer at HCL Technologies said as quoted by ET, "We realise their need to celebrate their impact on the growth of the company along with their friends and family".

It is being believed that such appreciation will further encourage the employee to work for the betterment of the company.

Reportedly, other companies are also toying with this novel idea to acknowledge hard work of employees of the company.

"Newer benefits, and training and study trips to top global colleges, could be adopted by companies amongst other options", P Thiruvengadam director for human capital at Deloitte said.
