Visit the house of a martyr before questioning surgical strikes: Modi

The prime minister was speaking at a massive rally in Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh

"Those who questioned the surgical strikes must come and visit the house of martyrs," Prime Minister Narendra Modi said at a rally in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday. Addressing a rally at Jaunpur, the PM said that it is not good and right to politicise national security.

"One must visit the homes of the martyrs to understand the pain," Modi said while speaking about the surgical strikes that were conducted across the line of control in September 2016.
Modi said that for 40 years the forces demanded for One Rank One Pension. "Nothing happened for 40 years. I had promised before I became the PM that OROP will be implemented. The BJP promised OROP and once we came to power, we did," Modi added.
