Molestation on IndiGo flight, Twitter flooded with sympathy, apathy for accused Old Man
Bhubaneswar, Feb 3: A 60-year-old man has become infamous across the world, thanks to a viral video in which a 32-year-old woman accused the man of molesting her.
The businessman allegedly tried to touch the woman inappropriately while travelling on an IndiGo flight New Delhi to Bhubaneswar.

Two videos have been surfaced so far. In the first video, the woman was seen chastising the man. She is seen loudly berating the man, abusing him, calling him an 'old pervert'.
Watch the first video:
The man is seen trying to cover his face with his hands and also apologising. In the second video, the man is seen talking to the woman saying, "Everyone makes mistakes in life. This was a mistake." He, however, admits that he had touched her.
Watch the second video:
Following an official complaint by the woman on Jan 27, police arrested the accused. Meanwhile, a police officer was quoted as saying, "The man was arrested based on the complaint lodged by the woman. A case had been registered under Section 354 of the IPC."
However, the police allowed the businessman to go home after serving notice to him. "Yes we can allow the accused to go home in cases which have punishment (of) less than seven years," said the police officer, adding that the accused has to appear before the court when the case comes up for hearing.
The woman, hailing from Jharkhand, alleged that the accused attempted to touch her from behind through gap between two seats. "I was very shocked for sometime to react," she said in the complaint.
The accused businessman, however, denied the charges and claimed that he had never committed any such act. He said, "I had no such intentions".
The two videos have gone viral on social media as both the videos have been uploaded on YouTube. Meanwhile, micro-blogging site Twitter was flooded with both sympathy and apathy for the "Old Man" who is the accused in the case.

Brave part: A girl confronted the alleged molester aboard on Indigo flight & shot the video. Sad part: Everyone else watched & did nothing.
