Viral Video Claims Black Magic Objects Found at Congress Leader Sudhakaran's Home

A video allegedly showing objects linked to black magic at the home of KPCC president and Kannur MP K Sudhakaran went viral on social media on Thursday. Television channels aired the footage, which depicted individuals extracting items from buried spots at Sudhakaran's Kannur residence, purportedly related to black magic.

Black Magic Claims at Leaders Home

In the video, Sudhakaran and Kasaragod MP Rajmohan Unnithan were allegedly heard speaking. When asked about their presence, Sudhakaran said, "You can ask the details with Unnithan." He also stated that such threats would not affect him. Unnithan has not commented on the video.

Black Magic Allegations

The video showed a third person, suspected to be an astrologer, removing figurines of Theyyam, ash, and other coloured powders allegedly used in black magic rituals. A man's voice in the video mentioned an item recovered and claimed it was black magic material meant to affect the head.

Sudhakaran addressed the media after the video was broadcast. He said it was an old video and that he was not afraid of such threats. When reporters asked about similar materials found at the party headquarters, he said he had also heard about it.

Public Reactions

The issue has sparked interesting debates on social media. Congress ideologue Cherian Philip commented on Facebook that in this modern scientific era, those who believe in and practice evil superstitions and black magic are cowards. He added that Kerala society has rejected such superstitions and evil practices.

Philip further stated that those who engage in sorcery and other evil acts are mere criminals. "Those who adopt deceitful means to destroy their opponents have criminal minds," he said. He urged progressives, political activists, and media outlets never to support such people and dismiss them with contempt.

The incident has drawn significant attention, with many questioning the authenticity of the claims and the motives behind them. The debate continues as more details emerge from various sources.
