Violence in school: Class 1 boy stabbed by another student
In yet another incident bringing to fore the rising violence in school, a class 1 student was stabbed with a sharp object by a class 9th student in Lucknow.
The victim, six-year-old Hrithik Sharma, told his parents that the girl took him inside a bathroom and attacked him, said an HT report. Hrithik, who suffered injuries on the chest, abdomen and left eye, is stated to be stable but has been placed under observation at KGMU's trauma centre for 48 hours.

"Child is under treatment and is fine now. Our priority was his safety, his parents work as peons and we thought it will be tough for them, so we took him to hospital by ourselves. We are told by the child that a 'Didi' took hold of him and attacked him with a sharp object," the principal of the school told news agency ANI.
Hrithik's father said that no FIR has been filed so far.
"School authority says they will file an FIR but nothing but it hasn't been done yet. My child says he was attacked by a girl," he said.
