BJP's Vijendra Gupta achieved a decisive win in the Delhi Assembly elections, representing Rohini. He faced competition from AAP's Pradeep Mittal and Congress's Sumesh Gupta. Garnering 70,365 votes, Gupta surpassed Mittal by a margin of 37,816 votes.

Since 2015, Vijendra Gupta has been a consistent figure in the Delhi Assembly. Previously, he held the position of Leader of Opposition. His financial disclosure to the Election Commission reveals a net worth of ₹3,27,98,936. His movable assets are valued at ₹3.09 crore and immovable ones at ₹18.83 lakh.
Gupta's spouse declared movable assets amounting to ₹4.18 crore and immovable assets worth ₹84.24 lakh. For the fiscal year 2023-2024, Gupta reported an income of ₹12.32 lakh in his tax returns.

The Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) highlighted that five candidates were billionaires with assets exceeding ₹100 crore each. Additionally, 23 candidates reported assets above ₹50 crore.

The top five wealthiest candidates included Karnail Singh (BJP) from Shakur Basti with assets of ₹259.67 crore; Manjinder Singh Sirsa (BJP) from Rajouri Garden with ₹248.85 crore; Gurcharan Singh (Congress) from Krishna Nagar with ₹130.90 crore; Parvesh Sahib Singh Verma (BJP) from New Delhi with ₹115.63 crore; and A Dhanwati Chandela (AAP) from Rajouri Garden with ₹109.90 crore.
