VHP secretary general to meet leaders, workers to discuss road map for organisations’ programme
New Delhi, Aug 13: Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), one of the important affiliate organisations of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) to organise Akhand Bharat Diwas.
On this occasion the newly appointed secretary general Milind Parande will be in Allahabad to chalk out strategy of organisation including the Ram Temple. Sangh affiliate don't accept partition and always talk of undivided India.
Vishwa Hindu Parishad leader Vinod Bansal told OneIndia that the VHP observes Akhand Bharat Divas as it is continuously trying to make India one and to remember freedom fighters of the country.
The VHP observe December 6 as Shaurya Diwas and Janmashtami and foundation day along with Akhand Bharat Diwas. All the important leaders of the VHP will participate in this programme. However, the international secretary general Milind Parande will be meeting VHP leaders and workers in Allahabad.
Sources in the VHP said that the leadership will not only participate in Akhand Bharat Diwas but also discuss matters related to the VHP activities in the Kumbha Mela in Allahabad to be conducted in January-February 2019.
The VHP has plans to organise Sant Sammelan, Yuva Sant Sammelan, Mahila Sant Sammelan and philosophical discourse at the Kumbh Mela.
The VHP has been saying that this year there will be an ideological Kumbha Mela in which people from across the world would participate including such people who are closely associated with the Sangh Pariwar.
If sources are to be believed then contemporary issues like atrocities against women, rape and Dalit issue too will be broadly discussed.
A VHP office bearer said that all these issues will not be discussed considering politics but as social evils.
Obviously Ram Temple is one of the issue that is most dear and close to the organisation so how the objective of construction of Ram Temple is accomplished will definitely figure in the meeting.
Mela is not very far off so the preparation for them is to be assessed and coordination with the administration is also important issue.
