Veteran South Indian actress Krishna Kumari passes away
Known for her work in Telugu, Krishna Kumari had acted in more than 125 films in Telugu and almost 50 films in Kannada, Tamil and Malayalam.
Veteran yesteryear actor Krishna Kumari passed away at her residence in Bangalore on Wednesday. The actress was diagnosed with cancer and had been undergoing chemotherapy for the past couple of years.

Known for her work in Telugu, Krishna Kumari had acted in more than 125 films in Telugu and almost 50 films in Kannada, Tamil and Malayalam.
Krishna Kumari is siter of late actress 'Sowkar' Janaki.
She was one of the noted Telugu actresses of the 1960s and 1980s and had worked with legendary actors like NT Rama Rao, Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Krishnam Raju, Dr Rajkumar, Sivaji Ganesan, Kanta Rao, and Jaggayya. She is survived by her daughter Dipika.
Krishna Kumari was best known for her on-screen pairing with NTR, with whom she did 25 films.
