Richa Srinet, the dog owner who went viral after an argument with residents in her Noida housing society, has issued a statement in the form of videos on Twitter.

Richa, speaking in Hindi, explained the events that unfolded during her argument with the residents concerning her pet dog on Friday. She expressed her mental distress, having faced online trolling following the incident. Furthermore, she revealed that she was subjected to abusive language.

During the altercation, Richa recounted being told, "Your dog is worth Rs 50, and the leash is worth Rs 200." She admitted retaliating to the insults, but only after they escalated and became increasingly hurtful.

One particular moment that triggered Richa was when a woman began recording the incident on her smartphone. Richa questioned, "Can we assign a value to any living being?" in the video.

For those unaware, a video capturing the argument between Richa and her housing society residents in Noida went viral on Twitter. The 40-second clip showed an altercation in an elevator regarding the use of a muzzle on her pet dog. Richa firmly held her leashed dog while a man requested her to muzzle it.

As a witness to the incident, Richa shared another video showing the security guard of her residential tower, who affirmed that she had indeed been subjected to verbal abuse by the residents.

Concluding her comprehensive video statement, Richa asserted, "Aren't these fur babies our children? I will not be intimidated or cease to love animals due to these abuses, as I cherish and love all beings."

In recent months, Noida's housing societies have witnessed numerous cases of pet owners engaging in heated arguments with residents.
