Vendor stabbed to death in Srinagar

Srinagar, Dec 13: A vendor was stabbed to death by unidentified persons in Sopore township of north Kashmir's Baramulla district, police said today.

Ghulam Mohammad Tantray was attacked by unknown persons, who stabbed him in the neck at Behrampora Chowk in Rafiabad area of the township late last night, a police spokesman said.

He said Tantray was rushed to a hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead. Police have started investigations, the spokesman said, adding a hunt has been launched to nab the attackers.
